Most things to do in Amman are things you look at. This is one you make. Two to three hours in a heritage house in Jabal Al-Lweibdeh, and you leave with something you made with your hands — not a fridge magnet. It works as a date night, a night out with friends, or an afternoon for anyone who wants to do rather than watch — we are open till 2am every day.

Why visitors come here
We are the only studio in Jordan teaching Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. We also teach Kurinuki carving and Raku firing — techniques you will not find elsewhere in the country, taught properly rather than as a novelty.
The studio is a heritage house in Jabal Al-Lweibdeh, Amman’s oldest and most walkable neighbourhood, a few minutes from Paris Circle. It is also a cafe, so you can stay afterwards. Most people do — our open-time policy means nobody moves you along.

If you are short on time: what you can take with you
Clay has to dry and be fired, so pottery cannot leave with you the same day — but that does not mean weeks. Glass and Raku go home with you the same day; Raku is fired during your session. Pottery, Pottery Painting and Kurinuki are usually ready in about seven days, and if you are only in Jordan a few days, tell us when you book — we will have your piece fired and glazed in two to three days, at no extra charge.

Do you speak English?
Yes. Workshops run in English or Arabic — just tell us which you prefer when you book.
Can I join at short notice?
Often yes, but sessions are small so message us on WhatsApp first. We will tell you honestly what is available today or tomorrow.
I am only in Amman for a few days. Which workshop should I choose?
Raku, Stained Glass, Glass Painting, Sacred Icon or Acrylic Painting — all of those you take home the same day. Pottery needs firing, so it cannot travel with you the same day. Pieces are usually ready in about seven days, and if you are leaving Jordan sooner, tell us when you book — we will have yours fired and glazed in two to three days, at no extra charge.
Can you open in the morning?
Yes, with a day’s notice. Our normal hours are 2pm to 2am, but if your schedule needs 9am we will open for you. Useful if you have a flight or a tour later.
Where exactly are you?
26 Al-Farazdaq Street, Jabal Al-Lweibdeh — one of Amman’s oldest and most walkable neighbourhoods, near Paris Circle. Any taxi will know “Jabal Al-Lweibdeh, Al-Farazdaq Street”.
Is it suitable if I have never made anything before?
Completely. Most of our visitors have never touched clay or glass. Nothing here assumes experience.
Can we come as a family?
Yes. Most workshops work across ages. Stained Glass is the only one restricted to 18+, because of the glass cutting and soldering.
How much does it cost?
Between 20 and 100 JOD depending on the workshop. Unlimited drinks and snacks are included in every price.
